In this workshop, students will be guided in creating a mixed media piece that centers a "special object". This could be something sentimental (fabric from a family heirloom) or a piece of nature that feels inspiring (sturdy dried flowers, animal bones). We will be sewing , embroidering, or glueing those special objects onto the fabric, and creating a design that highlights and mirrors it's colors and qualities. Bring your feelings and intuition.
